ABSTRACT

You and your partner have a right to feel proud of your body and your sexuality. When you feel proud of your bodies, you bring confidence to your sex life. You do not need a perfect body to have great sex. Sexual function is important (although not essential) for sexual satisfaction. Caring for your physical health and healthy behaviors (e.g., adequate sleep, exercise, eating, moderate drinking) is an important dimension of sexual function at every age. Because illness is a significant enemy of sexual function, and can be more prevalent as we age, wellness is a crucial goal.
