ABSTRACT
There are essentially three phases to implementing the contract, defined as pre-implementation activities (those aspects that need to be addressed before the contract has been signed); post-implementation activities (those that need to be addressed immediately after the contract has been signed but before it has been put into effect); and post-commencement activities (those aspects that continue to run under the mantle of contract management for the life of the contract).
