ABSTRACT
Before considering the sexual problems which may present in adolescence, it is important to have an understanding of the development of normal sexual behaviour. In our society a mature heterosexual relationship is regarded as the norm and where a teenager deviates from this pattern he may experience considerable distress and yet be too embarrassed to seek help. In the development of sexual behaviour there are two important areas which require consideration:
Biological.
Psychological.
