ABSTRACT
Ardent defenders of abortion believe that abortion is morally permissible in all circumstances throughout all nine months of pregnancy. In legal and sometime also moral terms, ardent defenders of abortion assert an absolute right to abortion, even as ardent critics of abortion defend an exceptionless norm against intentionally killing the human fetus. But what exactly is meant by the “right to abortion”?
