ABSTRACT

Delivery of your message in written form poses challenges for most people. When communicating with written media, we have fewer tools for conveying sincerity or enthusiasm than we would have when speaking. We cannot rely on facial expression, voice, or gestures. We can, however, project professionalism through the words we choose and our attention to reader needs. So, what can we do to deliver written messages effectively? This chapter targets a few key tools that can affect the personality of your messages as well as their functionality.
