ABSTRACT
In the early 1970s, when I first entered the field of social psychology as a student, Elliot Aronson’s name was heard constantly. His bold ideas, innovative methods, and well-written papers inspired admiration and a healthy dollop of controversy. It seemed no course reading list could be complete without some of his works.
