ABSTRACT

A colleague, Maggie Stephenson, asked me some time ago to join her to work with the senior management team of a high school for just one day, a day that she was going to follow up with a series of twilight meetings. The school had been in some difficulties and was working very hard to turn itself around. Amongst the many actions that they had already taken-new staff, refurbishment of much of the school, and new school uniforms, they had also requested this day’s consultation to focus on the school, its future, and the best way to move forward as part of an ongoing project.
