Everyone has given up.” She then told the story: Her 20-year-old son had been in a car accident 6 months earlier and would never walk again. After 6 months of rehabilitation, he was now back to living with his parents, physically as well as he could be but mentally, not at all. “Can you please see him? You’re our last hope-he has so much to live for.”
