ABSTRACT
Check I CAN . . . targets that still need achieving as this is an ideal opportunity for children to “show off” their writing skills. Ask children to choose two they will try to achieve in the process of writing, editing and publishing their story. Encourage them to choose one target that is skill-based and one to do with presentation.
