ABSTRACT
Through their participation in Shared Journal, children are continuously talking, listening, asking questions, gathering information, thinking, solving problems, learning about others, and learning about their physical and social world. The purpose of this chapter is to identify and document the content and processes children learn in the social studies, mathematics, and science as they participate in Shared Journal.
