ABSTRACT

As educators, we often hear about the twenty-first century classroom and the importance of implementing technology. We know that, if technology is used as a developmentally appropriate tool in instruction, education can be revolutionized. As with most things, this is much harder than it sounds. Many classrooms around the world have been outfitted with very expensive high-tech products. However, many of those products serve only as dust collectors because educators simply do not know how to implement them for daily use. Technology will never replace teachers, but teachers who do not know how to implement technology will eventually be replaced.
