D D'Angelo, Frank J. (b. 1928) Professor of English, Arizona State University; B.S. 1960, Loyola University; M.A. 1963, Tulane University; Advanced Certificate 1967, University of Illinois at Champaign (Urbana); Ph.D. 1970, University of Nebraska (Lincoln). Frank J. D'Angelo is in part responsible for the revival of classical rhetoric in the English classroom and has taught and published in a wide range of subjects, including classical rhetoric, rhetoric and literary theory, rhetoric and cultural studies, and composition theory.
