ABSTRACT
In its most general sense, pluralism is the affirmation and acceptance of
diversity. In philosophy, it is the belief that no single explanatory system or
view of reality can account for all the phenomena of life. In politics, it is one
of the features of democracy, affirming the diversity in the interests and beliefs
of the citizenry.
