Research: Evidence drawn from current, recent and past practice

In this chapter, we will consider research in the area of the social classroom. Examples are drawn from the work of well-established psychologists and educationalists reflecting recent and current classroom practice. The five different sources of empirical evidence illustrate different approaches to research in the area; they will then connect with the theories in Chapter 3.
