ABSTRACT
For a while, before Dan came into our life, I was a single mother because of divorce, and divorce was my choice. So I don’t regret my choice because I know for what reason I made the decision. Yet I unwittingly put myself and my child in a vulnerable position. Unfortunately, I suspect not too much has changed. I am older now and have been remarried for 25 plus years. Yet my heart still breaks at our vulnerability in those days.
