This title was first publishde in 2001. The author explores the role of "peackemaker" that Indonesia volunteered to play by way of resolving the complex Cambodian conflict. He examines what motivated Indonesia; how far the country lived up to ASEAN expectations; and whether the country succeeded as a mediator.
