ABSTRACT

In 1991 Cuthelton Lilybank Neighbourhood Initiative (CLNI – later to incorporate Newlands and become CLNNI) was established by the local authorities in Glasgow, Strathclyde Regional Council (SRC) and Glasgow District Council (GDC), and charged with developing a strategy for the comprehensive regeneration of one of the city’s, and the UK’s, most deprived areas.
