ABSTRACT
Other than in Kigali, the capital, there are regular theatre activities in Butare and Gisenyi. Kigali has the country’s best-equipped theatre - le Centre d’Echanges Culturels FrancoRwandais (Franco-Rwandan Cultural Exchange Centre); Butare has the largest theatre in Rwanda, located on the campus of the univer sity; and Gisenyi has the modern SODEVI auditorium.
