ABSTRACT

Children presenting difficult behaviour in school frequently find themselves in the middle of a situation where, on the face of it, there appears to be considerable mistrust and even antagonism between their parents and their school. A whole range of experiences, beliefs and feelings may contribute to the difficulties. Parents may feel blamed and possibly intimidated by school. Schools may see parents as uncooperative.
