The Censure of the Rota

The first of a group of anonymous pamphlets (see also Nos. 13, 14, 15) published in the spring of 1673 in criticism or vindication of Dryden. The Censure is sub-titled On Mr Driden’s Conquest of Granada and was published at Oxford.
