Pound was unofficially connected with H & H (see Leonard Greenbaum, The Hound & Horn: The History of a Literary Quarterly (The Hague: Mouton, 1966)), but was not pleased with this review: 'Fitts is from my point of view, very nearly hopeless,' he wrote to Lincoln Kirstein, the editor (Greenbaum, p. 118).
