ABSTRACT
The Mums complain bitterly when they find they are to have yet another baby, but when the child is born, it is generally loved and cared for. The mother will deny herself many necessities so that the child will have food and clothes. A child of 16 said, ‘Me mother never buys herself any clothes. If dad gives her money and tells her to buy some-thing for herself, she buys clothes for the children.’
