ABSTRACT
The temptation to say “Thus endeth this lesson” is strong, but responsibility to the reader who has followed the toilsome path up to this point cannot be so lightly dismissed. A backward glance along the trail seems to be called for, and more or less well-grounded speculation as to where it may eventually lead is likewise in order.
