Children's Drawings

Many studies have been made since the end of the last century of the drawings of children. In some cases the drawings of individuals have been collected over a considerable period and used for purposes of research. Sully, Shinn, Preyer, Luquet, and also Stern made such collections. Other investigators have studied large numbers of the single drawings of children carried out during experiments in schools.
