ABSTRACT
It is not taking too much for granted to assume that every intelligent person knows what is meant by the terms character and temperament. In truth, however, there is a certain measure of latitude in the treatment at least of character, as had already been intimated. Before we proceed further then it seems necessary to discuss the various acceptations of the words, so as to avoid confusion in names.
