ABSTRACT
IN THE manifest picture of neuroses guilt feelings seem to playa paramount role. In some neuroses these feelings are expressed openly and abundantly; in others they are more disguised but their presence is suggested by behavior, attitudes and ways of thinking and reacting. I shall discuss first in a summary description the various manifestations which indicate the existence of guilt feelings.
