ABSTRACT
A/ANA and pramdna mean measure. The four kinds of measures are mentioned by Yat~i1b Ibn +ari~ in his book Oompositio Sphceraruan, but he did not know them thoroughly, and, besides, the names are misspelled, if this is not the fault of the copyists.
