ABSTRACT
The nomenclature of the various spells and rites in growth magic is simpler, more direct and more lively than that in other parts of our subject. The verbs are usually borrowed directly from ordinary speech, they stand in perfect accordance with the aim of the spell and its meaning and with the stage of growth to which the magic refers.
