ABSTRACT

To begin with, I want to put before you the proposition that the psychobiological development of living creatures can occur in six ways:

Genetic evolution (mutation, selection, etc.)

Reflexive action (tropisms, archisms, taxias)

Instinct (innate releasing mechanisms, imprinting, etc.)

Practice (learning by repetition)

Learning by association (conditioned reflexes)

Social communication (insect up to human communities)
