ABSTRACT

Many of the methodologically critical comments we have made about biolqgical, psychiatric, and psychological studies can be applied to what may be called social investigations and sociological researches on aggressive crime, particularly homicide. If endocrinological and electroencephalographic (EEG) examinations have been made on homicide offenders without reference to sociological data, it is equally the case that social categories of homicide offenders have been established by sociologists who have by-passed· all or most of the other disciplines that could have contributed to their analyses.
