ABSTRACT
Without doubt no man who sees only with his eyes can know anything of what has been here described. It is for this reason that I have called them obscure, even as they have been judged to be by the art. Their obscurity, however, does not mean that they are our masters, but as far as is possible they have been mastered, a possibility limited only by the capacity of the sick to be examined and of researchers to conduct research.
