The Company is a public company whose primary task is to make a profit by the investment of shareholders' capital in textile and chemical operations. The owners are the shareholders; and 'government' is vested in a board of directors whom they elect. Import is capital; conversion the making of profit by investing the capital in the Calico Mills; exports are dividends paid to shareholders and surplus profits that are reinvested.
