ABSTRACT
In drawing up an economic plan each economic unit has to start from certain given conditions or data. These data relate in part to the economy as a whole, and in part to the single economic unit.( 1 ) Among those which relate to the economy as a whole are:
the tastes of the individual households, their nature and order;
the resources of human labour of given types and quality at the moment of planning;
the natural resources available at the moment of planning;
the existing real capital at the moment of planning;
the technical and organizational knowledge at the moment of planning;
the existing legal and social order.
