ABSTRACT
This section of the epic is concerned primarily with the loss of the sacred basket and rangga emblems by the Two Sisters; the men (that is, the Djanggawul Brother himself and the galibingu circumcision novices who had been removed from the Sisters: vide Song 115) subsequently take over the sacred nara ritual, which is performed in the same way as its modern counter-part.
