ABSTRACT
There were European missionaries of the London Missionary Society at Hanuabada, on the Metoreia Station, before Great Britain established the first Government over Papua. They have exerted constant influence for over eighty years. Hanuabada is an almost completely London Missionary Society congregation, although Catholicism is a relatively recent introduction.
