ABSTRACT
In most countries the access to the territory of the state is limited by immigration laws. Those who enter and live on the territory without the permission of the state's authorities are labelled 'illegal aliens'. Coercion can be used against them in order to expel them from the country. Trying to avoid such a fate, most illegal aliens undergo all the pains and risks which are associated with the condition of being an 'outlaw'.
