ABSTRACT

This paper is an information paper written to acquaint those interested in durability of repaired concrete structures with the scope and duration of a new field and laboratory testing program which began in 1994 and will continue through 1996. It has been commissioned by the US Army Corps of Engineers and is designed to develop performance criteria for the selection of cement-based repair materials for durable concrete repairs, to select an industry-wide reliable dryng shrinkage test method, and establish correlation (if any) between properties of repair materials tested under the standard laboratory conditions and actual field performance.
