By way of comparison, Donakowski (233) finds 40,700 man-days lost in total occupational risk to build a 500-mi, 765-kV line. Putting this on a 1000 km and annual basis to correspond to Table L-3, this is 40,700 X 100/500 X 1.6 X 30 = 1700 man-days lost.
