Notes In three volumes all translated into English under the following titles: I An Egyptian childhood, tr. E.H. Paxton (London 1932); II The Stream of days, tr. Hilary Wayment (London 1943); III A Passage to France, tr. Kenneth Cragg (Leiden 1976) . Taha I:Iusain wrote the whole story in the third person. However, the translator of the third volume took the liberty of making Taha I:Iusain speak in the first person.
