ABSTRACT
Hops in bags are mentioned in 1635, 1636 and 1641 and in pockets in 1817 and 1827-29, but apart from these years no information is available as to whether prices refer to bag or pocket hops. Two price levels in 1636 and 1641 suggest that pocket hops were also bought in these years, but all prices have been combined for lack of information.
