ABSTRACT
As with prices from the Lord Steward’s Department no adjustments have been made here. A half-line is inserted in the tables after ca. 1667 and 1782 to indicate the change in fees and asterisks are printed to Maundy prices in 1713. An asterisk is printed in the date column in 1715, and at times of other reforms when no definite single factor can be named as the cause for the change in level. I t should be noted that the two dates of a sudden change in the level of prices in the tables taken from the accounts of the Lord Steward’s Department, 1760 and 1811, are of no significance here.
