ABSTRACT
The prices have been tabulated accordingly by the load up to 1707 and by the ton thereafter. Price-relatives have been calculated on the assumption that the load till 1707 is equivalent to the ton. Entries for “ Pit-sand ” in 1771-74 at l.75s. per ton, comparing with l.25s. per ton in the table, have been omitted.
