ABSTRACT
There was once a woman who set off and went to see a malam and after greeting him, said ‘Malam! I want you to give me medicine, so that I may rule my husband’ and he answered ‘Very well, I’ll give you some. But first you must get some bush-cow’s milk.’ And she said ‘However shall I get bush-cow’s milk?’ He answered ‘Well, you’ll just have to devise a way to get hold of bush-cow’s milk’ and she expressed her agreement.
