ABSTRACT

There was a certain Youth, a Giant, as high as from Jemaan Daroro to Kano, or to Bauchi (1); amongst all the others there was not his like. Now a Magician had given him a charm, and had said that he must never know a Woman. [And while he remained single] if a Giant came, no matter whence, when he arrived, then the Youth killed him when they boxed.
