ABSTRACT

Obviously, before an investor can contemplate purchasing a property interest, he or she must have the necessary money, and a relatively large sum will be required, for even the purchase of a small property will probably cost in the region of £50,000. Larger properties will cost many times more, and some cost many millions of pounds to purchase. Because of the need for such large sums, the majority of purchasers cannot provide all the necessary money from their own funds, and they have to borrow to obtain sufficient money to proceed with a purchase.
