ABSTRACT
The two sample Home Condition Reports with their Energy Performance Certificates, the first on a House comprised in this section between pages 183 and 220 and the second on a Flat between pages 223 and 250 contained in Section 8 are in the format required by the Regulations. The Regulations in turn require the inclusion of paragraphs of wording which will appear in every report irrespective of the dwelling’s type, size or age setting out, for example, the terms and conditions on which it is prepared, what it will and what it will not contain, definitions, notes on how the inspection is conducted and what to do if the recipient has a complaint. This wording is reproduced in the sample reports in the same form of upright type as used in the remainder of the book, bold where there are headings.
