Cost-Effective Autonomy Learning
The learning skills package is a screen-delivered interactive computer-based learning application, running under Microsoft Windows on a personal computer (PC). The learning skills package designed to use as a flexible learning aid, with existing learning skills material. The emphasis of the package is on the user finding own strategy, as well as giving positive ideas and positive approaches to develop skills. The user required to take part actively when using the package, by answering questions, completing activities or selecting options based on own experience. The package also needs to make widely available and accessible to everyone. There is no reason the package cannot be made available to students to run on own PCs as well as being networked throughout the university. The package fully integrated into the university in September 1995 and identified a range of ways the package used. The future success of integrated package will dependent on its availability to students, method of delivery and student feedback.
