ABSTRACT

In Chapter 3 we described an incremental prototyping model of IMM development consisting of a continuous cyclical process of design, develop, evaluate. In this model, the evaluation is an ongoing process where, at the end of each cycle, we critically examine what we have done before starting the next iteration of the cycle. The amount of effort put into the evaluation and the decisions made here determine the quality of the project, and hence its ultimate success or failure.
