Does Gender Affect Students' Approaches To Learning?

The area of gender and approaches to studying in Higher Education appears to be a relatively new and unexplored field, which is somewhat surprising considering the increase in numbers of female students attending universities (Richardson and King, 1991). This study was designed to take a closer look at whether there is a link between gender and approaches to studying.
