ABSTRACT
As noted in the introduction, this book is about evaluation of courses, course support materials and the presentation of those materials to the learner.
This final chapter discusses some of the evaluation issues with respect to on-line learning. The chapter opens with a short description of on-line learning and what should be considered regarding evaluation. This is followed by an overview of good practice for assessing the learner, the overall course, the actual materials and the on-line environment.
